I'm going to be getting married in August or September 2012 and I can't find a venue that fits my needs in the Birmingham area.

I want one location for both the ceremony and reception. Expecting 150 people.
Large open area for reception food, bar and dance floor. Preferably not outside but the ceremony can be outside if necessary. I would like to stay away from having it at a hotel or conference center since I work at a hotel.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

B&A Warehouse is nice. One of my cousins just got married there in October and and it was amazing. Do you work for a locally owned and operated hotel or is it a national/international chain? If it's a chain, that might actually work to your advantage because you might be able to get a good discount!

Its depends on your budget, but the alabama theater is wonderful. There is also rosewood and carraway davie house. I am not sure they have dancefloors. I would recomend my site, Vulcan Park, but their dancefloor is carpet. I also like harbert center.
