Believe it or not we just got engaged in December and are getting married in April! We have been together for years and just decided why wait. I have purchased my dress (An Oleg Cassini from David's Bridal), decided on a date an venue (just waiting to sign the revised contract), meeting with a photographer to deposit this week, picked out my invites, started ordering decorations for my centerpieces. So much to do! Our engagement party is this weekend and I couldn't be more excited.

All I have left to do is finish making the table number/menu cards, design and make the escort card display board (which I can't do till all the RSVP's are back), and wrap the gifts for the wedding party.

We've booked everyone, have final meetings with a few of them in the next couple of weeks - I'm getting my dress fitted/altered this weekend... I think that's about it!

We are so close! I'm excited :)

I'm using Sandra Denley for alterations. My second fitting is in a couple weeks, and I'm so excited to see what she's done!

I really only have escort cards, menus and programs left to finish. Well, my centerpieces aren't quite done yet but my parents have said they are going to help with those.

What are you doing for the escort card display board? I was thinking about using an old window, but I haven't been able to find anything that I like.
