I'm doing mine at AK Tailors. I haven't started them yet, so I couldn't tell you about the work.

However, I did meet Mahla and tried on my dress for her - she seemed knowledgable and experienced. I'll be going in in February for my first alteration fitting.

I'm having my dress altered by Joyce at Hem and Her. She's been doing alterations professionally since the early 1980s and knows what she is doing. Plus, the price she quoted is phenomenal considering the work that needs to be done. Keep in mind, I asked around and did online research to find the right person for the job.
