Hello!

Does anyone know a northern california beach wedding venue that allows a ceremony on the beach with a reception space nearby? My previous venue had to cancel because they overbooked us and we're desperate for a beautiful place.

We'd also be interested in venues that allow your own catering.

I believe that you can rent out the lighthouse at Point Reyes, which is near San Francisco. The park has a beach area in the brochures, though I'm not sure how close it is to the lighthouse. I assume they'd let you bring in catering, since they probably don't have their own kitchen. (We looked at it briefly, so I'm afraid that's all I know.)

My fiance and I checked out Seascape Resort in Santa Cruz and it was pretty nice. They have a ceremony space overlooking the beach, but I think you might be able to do it on the beach there too. Overall it was nice and reasonably affordable, the only drawback I found was that it felt a little like a "wedding factory."
