Hey San Diego brides and grooms. Chat here about the best tips, Knottie GTGs, and wedding planning in your area.

I'm looking into having an evening reception, but I know it gets a little chilly at night.  Does anyone know how the weather usually is in june, would it be too cold? thanks!

The sun does take a lot of warmth with it, especially in the winter. June tends to be iffy, but you could get away with it. How about getting some of those heat lamps that are at every restaurant?

"June gloom" is definitely a reality here, but I agree with Schatzi - you could get away with it, especially if your reception will be more inland. Heat lamps are also a good idea!

No... San Diego has great weather year round. However May and June are known for being overcast. The sun will peak through during the day, but usually we don't expect a truely sunny day.

The "gloom" isn't cold; it just isn't sunny.

Everybody already hit it on the nose... have heating lamps available if your party happens to fall on a chillier evening.
