So, I just need someone to be there to help coordinate the rehearsal, setup, manage flow and time, and cleanup...
I don't need anyone to manage or distibute payments to the vendors, don't need an emergency kit, or budget analyst.
All I need is a 'day of' wedding coordinator! Where can I find one that is not going to charge me an arm and a leg? I just want the arm! No leg! Family members have suggested helping, but I really want them to enjoy themselves .I've got everything planned down to a tee, just need an executor of my plan! $750 is the cheapest I've found, and I still think that's a lot.
Any suggestions?

Yes! Ever After Events with Sarah Glover. I just booked her for my August wedding and I'm pretty excited to have her on board. She's new to the business so maybe less experienced than some other coordinators but she has worked in the wedding indiustry for a while (in floristry) and because she's newer her prices are very reasonable--$500 for day of coordinating. She has a 20% off special for this month right now so I actually got DOC services for $400. I am also on a budget and had family members/friends tell me they could help, but I figure this is a gift to myself! And at $400, I don't have to feel *too* guilty about it. :)

a lot of girls have close friends be the DOC
i helped DOC my bff's wedding, but i was also a BM, it was fun, we got it done, no worries :D

My friend Dawn was my DOC. She's done it for quite a few weddings and is awesome at it. She's thinking about getting into the coordinating business so she'd probably be super cheap. Let me know if you'd like her contact info :)

Danielle from Something classic events was my coordinator. I think she helped a lot. Last year, I believe I paid about 850.

We also used Sarah with Ever After Events. She was absolutely amazing and I would recommend her a million times over. She put out at least 5 fires that I know of, and those were just issues with seating, etc. I think her website is www.everaftereventsco.com
