You don't realize all the little things that go into planning a wedding until you're doing it. We are getting married at LPP in june. As much as I LOVE this venue its definitely a stressful one. You have to think of every tiny detail yourself. But it is also pretty fun. I was just wondering if anyone else was getting married there what your set up is going to be like? Or just share some fun things. Just wanna see what other people are doing with this venue. Also where are you holding the ceremony??

We are having our reception at Anthony's which is right next to Lighthouse Point.

I had a friend who had their reception there last year. They got married right down the street at the Catholic Church St. Bernadette.

I'm getting married there in August. Planning is definitely stressful but i'd have to disagree with the above post about Sabrina not being helpful. She has given me names of vendors and has been extremely helpful with any questions that i've had. I actually just visted LPP on Sunday and was actually a little bummed out that they painted half way up the back of the building... But not because I thought the whole building needed to be painted... But because I fell in love with its rustic historic look. Who knows, they could paint the entire thing.. I also noticed that they bought new chairs which is nice.. They're not much better from the ones that they previously had... But they are a better color and not as used. Considering they have done a ton of Weddings there I thought they would have just gone with the white padded folding chairs that everyone seems to use.... I also noticed that they were replacing the dance floor.. which is also nice because it got sort of damaged from the hurricane.

I'm looking to get married there myself later this year and I love the fact that because they arent a "wedding factory", they are pretty open to allowing stuff.

Who are you guys using for a photographer?
