Hi Ladies!
Random question...we are doing a candy bar for our favors and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how much candy to buy? We are expecting around 120-130 guests. Will probably do about 8 different candies. Most of the sites that you can buy in bulk sell by the pound. Is anyone doing the same thing? I just don't want to run out of candy! TIA!!

We are also doing a candy buffet, and have around the same amount of people probably a litle more.. i heard to do atleast 1/2lb of candy per person. Even though my wedding is still far i have been researching candy and prices.. candy warehouse is a good site and another site i checked out which was a little cheaper then candy warehouse is A Candy Store. From my research i have seen bulk candy come in 5lb and 10lb bags, So if you do 8 different candies just plan to buy doubles of the candies that you are doing to meet your "lbs" per person and see if your venue can maintain it (i.e. add more candy to the jars when running low). HTH!

I've heard about 1/4 to 1/2 lb per person, depends how much of a sweet tooth your guests have! I've heard good things about candy warehouse, you can buy candy by color if you want to stick to a theme.
