My DJ is just starting to offer uplighting so you might be able to lock in a good price with him, Zach Dauphinais http://www.musictogoct.com. I can't help with anything else, as I have not booked any of the above either!

I'm using faricellis in west haven for my flowers. They even have some simple packages set up. I used one and then just added to it a little bit. Definitely good for you if you're on a tight budget.

Can't help with Videographer, uplighting (not doing either) or flowers as we are doing ourselves. But I am using First student for a Shuttle, but it is a school bus. I had gotten a quote from Kelley transit and they have a 20 person shuttle for $650. If the shuttle is going short distance and can keep doing back and forth with only 20 people that might be a good option.

We are using premier limo for a shuttle, and Flora Flora in Noank for our florist. We also met with Jane from Just for You and Montville flowers. Loved them all!!!

For a florist, we went with Stylish Blooms! Melissa creates beautiful floral arrangements and is very reasonably priced.

For uplighting, ask DJae Melee. I know he does uplighting, but I'm not sure if he offers it separately or only to those using him as a DJ.

I don't have a videographer, but I did look into getting one and Fran Gagnon had some beautiful work!

I would recommend our florist Candice from Candi's Creations. Her work is absolutely gorgeous and she's won several awards for her work and Martha Stewart even used her and featured her in her magazine. I haven't had my wedding yet but from what I've seen and what she's proposed to me everything looks great!

Stylish blooms for sure!! Melissa is amazing and will work with any budget.

How many people do you need to shuttle? I am providing transportation to all my guest and I'm using school buses. it will be about $650 for two buses!!

Thanks for all the recommendations - I will definitely be looking into these.

I am not sure how many people yet, but a lot! Probably looking anywhere from 60 to 100 people. I like the school bus idea because it definitely the cheaper option, especially with the amount of guests that will most likely utilize the shuttle. My only concern is our wedding is at the end of July and I'm afraid people will be sweating on a school bus. I'm considerating a coach bus to get people there and school buses back to save some money.

I din't have any of those (I thought most of these services were pretty ancillary), but by far my favorite vendor of the day was my florist, Helena Willis of Perfect Princess Events. She really went above and beyond and the flowers were more than what I ever could have imagined :) I cannot recommend her enough!

We are using King Vincent Storm for our photographer. They are very friendly and genuine people. Also, while looking through various albums at a bridal fair, nothing came close to their work.
