Engagment Pics Photographer

Hi Friends.

In the middle of planning our new orleans wedding, my fiance got transferred to DC and here we are. Now, all of a sudden, i am planning a destination wedding! ha! We have our photographer back home for the wedding but we are looking for a photographer to get our engagment pictures done. We would like to keep this reasonably priced. Any recommendations? I am also interested in maybe students trying to work on their portfolios. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Not sure what your budget is so I'll make two suggestions.

    1) Cassidy Duhon - Duhon Photography, based in DC - he is amazing, but pretty established now - his engagement sessions run $395 with full print rights.  www.duhonphotography.com

    2) Megan Cable - Megan Cable Photography - based in Columbia MD she is just getting started - her engagement sessions are $100 with full print rights.  www.megancable.com

    <div>I just looked at her site--I really like her prices.  Did you get any of the hard cover photo books?  If so, how were they?  I've seen a lot of photo books that were just like regular photo albums, and then others are really nice--with the photos actually published into the books.</div><div>

    I got married almost a yr ago, but just finished an after wedding bridal shoot with her and I just got my bridal shoot pics back from her this week & OMG I LOVE THEM!!!

    I didn't know about her before or I would have used her as my wedding photographer. I've seen her photo books and they are the kind where your picture is printed on the page. They are cute.
