I have the Disney Cinderella dress. It has 3 layers of tulle on top of the satin skirt. I ordered the *sparkle* tulle in the middle layer..and hate it. So I want to remove one layer of tulle. The length of dress is fine, but i'll need a bustle and it needs to be taken in at least one size... =/
I already spent so much on the dress, im worried. Advice?

I've heard they can be expsnsive. I called Jeanine the lady who was recommended on here. I don't have my appointment till the 27th so I can't say how she is. Just know that you don't have to use them and you can call around and get prices. Then again if you dont have the luxury of time just go with AA because its one less thing to worry about. Good luck and please post pics after the wedding!

From what I've heard, Jeanine is usually less than half of alterations shops. She is very busy right now though. My dress is chiffon (4 layers all together, I think). It is being shortened about 4 inches and bustled and having cups sewn in and it is costing me $175. Most of that is because she has to hem 4 layers of fabric. My sister is having her bridesmaids dress (also chiffon) taken in 1-2 sizes and Jeanine is charging $45. She will not do estimates over the phone, only in person.
