Hi Ladies,
I'm getting married in Plantation but live in Gainesville, and I'd like to do the bachelorett party In Ft. Lauderdale. All I want to do is drink and dance but my MOH and one of the BM (my sister and FI's sister) are 19 and 20. Is there anywhere they can come with? It's going to be very difficult to leave them out. Especially because my little sister holds a lot of sibling rivalry resentment already. I'm sure she'll get over it, but I really don't want to create issues before the wedding.

cafe iguana (pines) has certain nights where its 18 to get in 21 to drink. if you like country, theres the roundup in davie thats always 18 to get in 21 to drink. ladies night is (last i remember - its been a while) thursdays i believe. there's a couple places downtown ft laud that have 18+ ...

The roundup is great! I've taken large groups of non country fans for my bday and everyone had a great time. Also, aren't most strip clubs 18+? maybe there is silly guy one like chipendales in Vegas? I havent heard but haven't looked. Also, there is a drag queen restaurant in Oakland maybe I think it's called something lips? I have heard great things about that place for dinner and drinks.

Lips is the drag queen restaurant I heard amazing things! I'm pretty sure LaBere's male strip club on oakland as well is 18 and over actually it is definitely! IDK I thought some places downtown were but I'm not 100% sure check them out online!

I'm pretty sure La Bare is 18+ 'cause I reluctantly went there ages ago.
I've also heard great things about Lips but I've never been.
You should also check out Spice RestoLounge in Hollywood. It is a nightclub, they server awesome drinks and food, and it might be 18+. It is mostly latin music and some American but it is seriously fun. ALL the bartenders (guys and girls) dance in the bar all night, have great choreography, you get brazilian dancers, sometimes even shoes with fire......really fun without necessarily being...a strip club. HTH!

Just to touch on a few things other people have mentioned.....
Round-up in davie is only 18 and up on Fridays and im pretty sure there isnt anything in down town fort lauderdale that is 18+.

And just to let you know Friday night is Ladies night at the Round up so you can drink free til 4am... Im a big Fan of the Round up.. Few friends went to Lips and they said the food wasnt very good and it was expensive and not worth it. I am in the same boat as you, my sis MOH is 19. We are prob going to do our usual Round Up Friday night and then get everyone together Saturday night and go to La Bares...

Thanks everyone! Round up was on my list and it looks like it's a winner! I don't really want to go to a stip club, though one of my firends is all for it. :) She'll just have to plan that part on her own.

ahh, see, thats how long its been since i had been there. seriously, the last time i was there was AGES ago! and it also was 18+ because i was 18 or 19 at the time i would go there...they used to put two orange armbands on you and mark both your hands with big huge black X's ... lol
