how do we go about applying for our marriage license ... where do we do it / pick it up ... and when is the approiate time to get it ...

were nearing the 2 month mark and i wanna make sure we have all of our ducks in a row ...

We filled out and printed the application online then went down to the courthouse. You have to wait 3 days after but before 60 days to get married. If that makes any sense. It was really simple. FI and I were in and out of there within 15 min.

I'm on the same page... we're going in a week or so to get ours.

All I know is that in Broward County you need a drivers license or passport, your social security card, and money (i think it's around $90)

If you've taken premarital counseling then bring your certificate cause you'll get a discount. (I think they take about $30 off)

Also, like PP said - it's only good for 60 days so dont get it too early!

HTH! I would check online for the form to fill out beforehand and if you live in another county cause they might have other requirements.

I *just* printed the form out actually. Just go to the Clerk of Court website and search around for the marriage license section. Print it out, fill out and go to the court house to see the clerk (bring your license and both of you have to go). Its $93.50 and like PP said - you have to wait 3 days to get married but no more than 60 days from when its issued.
