YAY!!!! Its my day... --I am doing the Happy Dance-- 
1. First Name & FI's First name and wedding date? Michelle & Julio 04-24-2010
2. Where did you go to college? in Miami (but didn’t finish  wah..wahhhh)
3. What part of the world do you live in? Un-incorporated Dade... lol it’s west of Westchester and north of Kendall ...
4. How did you and FI Meet? actually we meet in 2000 it was my first job as a bank teller, he had just come back from the Marines and was working at the same branch, we worked together a year but it was never a romantic relationship, (even though now we know we both had the hot’s for each) I was 18 and enjoying my new college life and he had just come back from the military he was becoming a fire fighter and was a party animal, plus all the girls would hit on him ( we worked in South beach) and I always though he was way out of my league... either way we became close friends, we car pooled everyday since we lived close to each other, we would go to each others family events and we would hang out on the weekend. We actually went on 1 date but it was sooo weird because neither of us wanted anything serious. Eventually he left the bank to become a paramedic and slowly we lost contact. I then met someone else and he did too. For some reason I always thought of him (I remember I tried looking for him on myspace and other sites but no luck). Ok so 7 years later… my mom takes my dog to his routine annual check up and guess who works there… yep my FI but they didn’t recognize each other at first, they just knew they knew each other from somewhere, well after talking they realize who they are and he gives my mom his cell # so I could call him. Well I had just split up with my ex (after 6 ½ years) and I had gained a lot of weight. My dog was diagnosed with an allergic reaction that he had to get a weekly shot… OMG at that point I did not want to see him my confidence was soooo low… well after about 6 weeks and everyone telling me to call I finally just picked up the phone and called he was surprised to hear from me but he was at work and he told me to call him later… OMG I could not do it… I could not build up the nerve again… I waited another 2 days… and sent him a “happy thanksgiving text” he immediately called me and we starting talking for hours… well of course he wanted to see me and my mom was driving me crazy since she was fed up of the weekly vet appointments (since its MY dog LOL) so I went to that weeks appointment.The clinic was super busy, my dog was called in to get his shot and that was it I went back to the front to pay- as I walked out I kept thinking he saw me and didn’t like how I looked. I was so devastated… Well I must of walked like 10 feet before he came running out and gave me a HUGE HUG and said “I am not letting you out of my life again”…the rest is “happily ever after”  (Sorry so long…)
5. How long have you been together? Almost 2 years as a couple… 6. Do you live together? Why or why not? We are always together (if we are not working) but to save money we are not renting especially since we are in contract on a house…(hopefully the house will be our Christmas gift)
7. How did FI propose? We had both taken a day off to go see houses with the realtor, we finished earlier than excepted so we ran some errands and was just having a nice normal day together… well he said lets have a nice dinner tonight. Ok why not… we went to south beach (its where we originally met) we actually went to where our job was but its now a Hustler store… lol… we walked around the weather was awesome everything was great… of course I was being a pain because every place was sooo expensive and we were trying to get a house so we were on a budget… I kept saying lets just go to taco bell… he was like just relax… well we ended up in a Mediterranean restaurant, after dinner we went to walk on the shore… (*side note- every morning I text him his horoscope, that day his horoscope said he should be more poetic) as we were walking he said he found a nice poem since he is suppose to be more poetic. So he starts reading it to me and it was sooo nice but it ended with “I think I will make her my wife”… by the time I comprehended what the poem was about he was on one knee with the ring box… OMG I started to FREAK out I was not expecting it at ALLLLLL… of course after I accepted I had such a rush of energy I started doing flips and jumping he said I almost lifted him off the ground when we hugged… lol
8. How long of an engagement are you having/did you have? Why? Exactly 1 year… we got engaged April 24, 2009
9. Favorite wedding vendor so far? My favorite is a tie between Vivian Colls (florist/DOC) and John Paul Soto (photographer)
10. Biggest piece of wedding advice you can share so far? Not all weddings are meant to be elegant… I think we try tooo much to make this elegant party like if we are royalty or something but many times it comes out forced. I think the party should represent the couple’s personality. I love when people add personal touches it’s really the only thing that makes your event personal.
11. What do you do for a career? What does FI do? I work in Commercial Lending and FI is becoming a Veterinarian 12. Do you think you could be/will ever be a stay at home mama? Yes… BUT only for a few years while our kiddies are young
13. Do you want children? Any potential names yet? Tiffany Michelle & Alejandro James
14. Do you have any pets? Names? Yep- my one and only SPARKY!
15. Do you have any siblings? A younger sister
16. What is your favorite food? CAKE! lol- I am not going to lie I am a sucker for sweets especially cake!
17. What is your favorite movie? I love all Tyler Perry Movies
18. What is your favorite drink? (Alcohol and Non-Alcohol) Water is all I drink now… but in my alcohol days - I was a shots girl… since I hate the taste of alcohol I would take anything I could swallow fast.
19. What is the hardest part of wedding plans for you? MONEY! I love everything about the planning even the stress but I just wish I had more money…
20. Where are you honeymooning? 7 day Western Caribbean cruise (Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, and Labadie)
21. What is the best thing you learned on The Knot? Omg… so much- I wish I would have found it before I started planning, there are so many great suggestions and ideas on here.
22. What's one city you would love to live in for a year? NY… I love the city!
23. What do you love most about your FI? I love the way he holds me the way he makes me laugh the way he makes me feel secure. I love his idea of our future plans, the way he treats his family and mine… I can’t get enough of him…
24. If you have an extra $5000 to put towards your wedding only, what would you spend it on? The honeymoon, a videographer (we are not having one as of now), and a bridal shower.
25. What is one silly thing about you? I have HORRIBLE Road rage but the minute I turn off the car I can’t remember any of it…
26. What Knottie wedding would you love to attend? All of them… I LOVE WEDDINGS!!!! Especially when they are different…
27. What is something you learned from The Knot that you never heard of prior? Koozies… LOL I remember I googled it!
28. What other Knottie boards do you visit? None… I am true to the SoFl Knotties
29. Describe yourself in 3 words. Caring…Patient…Classic
30. What else do you want to share?? I just want to thank all the knotties for accepting me and all the other knotties with open arms… I cant wait to start meeting everyone in person.

thanks ladies... we always say our story is a perfect example of that famous quote "if you let it go and it comes back then its meant to be" type.
sorry it was sooo long!
btw - i am sooo happy I am knottie of the day I told FI and he is like well I have to take the Knottie of the day to dinner tonight... YAY!
