As a teenager I was in LOVE with the VC Andrews books. In like 2004 I even bought every book every written at that point....well they are packed somewhere and I never finished haha. I would love to pull them out and keep going but there are so many more added.

Lately I have been reading the Janet Evanovich books. While living in NJ in 2010 I saw #4 and #5 in a thrift for about .50 each. I had heard someone talk about them so I picked them up. I fell in love instantly. I came back home and bought 1-3, then just finished up 6-7 and working on 8 now. I own up to #15 except #10 as I found them for about $1.00 each at my public library store.

My favorite author is Diana Gabaldon -- she wrote a series called Outlander, and they are by far among my favorite reads ever. However, I recently read The Hunger Games trilogy and that was really good. I prefer historical fiction, usually.

My favorite author is Jane Austen. I fell in love with Pride & Prejudice when I was 16. I read it every year.

I also really enjoyed the Harry Potter books. I tend to like lighthearted type murder mystery books. Nothing too scary or gruesome.
