Has anyone planned or is anyone currently planning their wedding at the Plantation Gardens Restaurant in Kauai? We are seriously considering this venue and would welcome any feedback or advice? What about a wedding coordinator that has worked with this venue often??

We are having our reception there in 2 months. Since we're going for something more relaxed and laid back we didn't feel a WC was necessary. The events manager has been super helpful though in helping us arrange some little things like lighting, and other vendors, so she could probably recommend some WCs that are familiar with the property.

I'm getting married there in July. We'll do the ceremony at the Sheraton then head to PG for the reception. We're working with Kaye Vea from Maile Weddings. We've had WONDERFUL experiences so far with Kaye, and Mona, from Plantation Gardens. The woman from the Sheraton has had some trouble communicating in a timely mannor, but I have *hopes* that this will turn around closer to the wedding date. Very helpful information!!! I have actually been in contact the Maile Weddings by email and they seemed really great. I do have one quick question for you. We are planning to have a party of 100-120, do you think PG can accomdoate a party that big?

I would call and ask, but I think they probably would! We booked it with 80 in mind (now it's looking more like 70) and it wasn't an issue at all. There is room in the restaurant for dinner, but I'm not sure about how many people they can fit in the garden for the ceremony. If it's too small, you can always do the ceremony on the Kiahuna lawn then walk a minute back to Plantation Gardens.
