Hey ladies,
Just another question because im a bit slow at the moment at work;)

With our WC taking in all our vendor orders (we will be paying her 1 large sum), we are aware each vendor gets an automatic gratuity. For example, our caterer will get %15....and so on and so forth.
My question is, who here is tipping their WC? I know she is piling in the money with kickbacks from each vendor. Heck, our food bill alone, she is making $800 commission. We paid a $300 flate rate...plus 18% from her 3 choices of caterer. Same with rentals, she is making around $300. Just curious what the other view points are on this. I know if my future hubby had his way...no tip lol.

I agree with Kimmy, I don't like the WC's who take out a percentage of what is spent. It seems slimey to me. Just have a flat rate and go with it!!

We tipped our WC but she had all of our vendors send us contracts direct and saved us money in so many areas. Many of our vendors also had their rates on line and it was exactly the same (or lower) on our contracts.

Yeah, dont get me wrong, we got small deals here and there, and we get the official bill from each vendor, but I feel she is not finding "our" ideal vendors...only the ones with kickback history.

My WC charged a flat rate, and she was so helpful throughout the process....I tipped her $100 at the end of then night, as a small thank you :)

Our WC also had a flat rate. We did tip her at the end for going above and beyond.

Let me re-phrase this, the kick-backs that almost all WC's get, is hidden, you should never see it. We were able to get a deal on a vendor, but then the vendor "accidentally" sent us our WC invoice...which showed an EXTRA 10% off.

So I guess Im curious what ballpark the flat rate was?
