I'm going to sound terrible here, but my FI. He lost his gym bag with a few hundred dollars worth of stuff in it. Luckily someone turned it in this morning, but still! He's notorious for losing stuff.

I've asked him several times to start looking up travel agents b/c I want to get the best deal and best package. He's procrastinated on that, which was supposed to be done by the end of this month.

In order to go on our Mexican honeymoon we need passports. He hasn't researched that process either.

I do love him dearly, but after all of the hard work and many hours of research I've done for our wedding one would think that he could handle the honeymoon and all that it entails. I really don't want to have to do everything myself.

    I sound really bad, don't I?!?!

Sparkette - you don't sound bad at ALL!!! I know exactly how you feel...perfect place to vent this stuff....I'm sure we all have similar stories for how we've wanted to kill our FI's. I know I surely have. Of course we love them dearly and are excited to marry them, but let's be real...they get on our nerves (just as we get on theirs)...it's completely normal...

This frickin weather!!  I say it every year, "Why do I still live in Chicago?"  Yet... I never do anything about it.  Is it so much to ask to want to walk my dog without looking like the kid in A Christmas Story?!

Sparkette...not bad at all.  I totally feel you there!  My FI has had 3 tasks, limo, tuxes, and church contact.  I can tell you the only thing completely done is the tuxes because I made an appointment at a Bridal Expo!  Then on the other hand...kinda of glad he has given me the reigns...I get scared wondering what our wedding would look like if it was all left to him!

Vent- I teach high school English and Spanish. Whoever decided that it is a good idea to allow a student to take second semester of Spanish when he failed first semester needs to be set straight. Talk about setting a kid up for failure! I can't truly fault him for not trying these past few weeks- he doesn't know what he's doing!

Ah Sparkette I'm in the same boat. FI, I know you work your butt off for us, but...save some energy for me! I'm going to grad school full time, working, and planning the entire wedding, its not like I'm waiting at home for you eating bon bons. BAH VENTING!

I'm going to make this a weekly thing - Wednesday Vent Day...mark your calendars. LOL.

    Dear FI,

I love you tons and tons and tons; when you continually give me names to add to our guest list, please don't act surprised when I tell you the total # of people on the list.
    Thank you very much.

I'm so glad we got past the "my FI is so perfect" misconception! FI's only wedding related task so far has been his guest list and the officiant. I've said this before, but going into the planning I knew he would procrastinate on his tasks so I always tell him they're due like a month before they're actually due. I'm happy because things are done on time and he's happy because I'm not nagging!

Kthame-  I KNOW EXACTLY what you are talking about!!!  when we were finalizing our list, FI gave me a TON of names from his parents that they "forgot" to give us earlier.  then acted all shocked when the total hit 288, like it was my fault!  Hello buddy, look at your parents friends versus my moms.  Not to mention, Do you know ANY of your parents friends?  I know EVERY one of my moms!  lol  whoah.....I need to back off lol
