I have always taken care of my own nails, where should we go pre-ceremony to get them done? I really want them to be good- if someone is working on my hands, I want them worked on!

I love French nails. In my opinion, the best place is Essential Nail and Spa in Elmwood. Other fancier spas do them for a lot more money, but Essential always looks great at a reasonable price. Plus, they have the gel polish, which you wont have to worry about chipping on your wedding day.
That is where I plan to get mine done for wedding. Only downside is that they do not take appts. :(

I have heard about the gel polish, and yes, I love the French manicure also, I think it is timelessly classy. We might have to see about geting there early if that is who we use!

I plan on taking my girls there for us to get all of ours done at the same time. I did talk to the manager, and he said if you have a group, he will work with you to schedule a time. That way you and your girls dont have to wait. :)

La riveria spa in Metairie will offer free limo service for 6 or more clients that sign up!.. We did this for my wedding! I also had a massage and a pedicure! It was fantastic. I did the shellac, which is just like the gel! They can do white tips too if you are interested. Just make sure to tell them That you want shellac so that they'll schedule enough time!. Look for my reviews further down on this board.
