hi there, my fiance and i have set dec. 1 2012 as our wedding date. we're looking for a unique wedding location in the bangor area, not a church. we are really going with the winter wonderland theme so we want a place that is simply elegant or rustic all on it's own. if you know of any places like this please PLEASE let me know! it is getting exhausting trying to find a place that fits what we're looking for, but i know it's out there somewhere!!! thanks for reading

I loved Morgan Hill Event Center in Hermon, Maine. I don't know if your date is available, but the open beams and 60 foot ceilings are unique!

I would also recommend Morgan Hill Event Center. I really wanted mine there, but it didnt work out. It is a beautiful location.

That was our date and we moved to April 21! When we were doing a non traditional winter wedding at a rustic venue, we looked at Camp Hammond in Yarmouth. Black Tie caters and owns this place. You can negotiate pricing and the venue price is cheap! ($400).
