My fiance and I are just starting our planning. We are looking to have the wedding ceremony and reception at the same location. Does anyone have any budget friends suggestions for a coastal wedding in Southern/Midcoast Maine area? We are trying to be very budget friendly as we are paying for the wedding ourselves.

If you are going for something a little less formal than a traditional wedding, check out Joseph's By the Sea in Old Orchard Beach. We are having our wedding there. The pictures on the website don't do the place justice, so I highly recommend visiting. They are very affordable and the place is beautiful.

You should also check out the Inn at Peaks Island. They have a great set up for ceremony and reception all at the same location...and they do a great job! They also have nice options for food choices/budgets.
