Hey Maine brides and grooms. Chat here about the best tips, Knottie GTGs, and wedding planning in your area.
We have a couple of recetion halls that we are interested in. None of them can hold the wedding ceramony on location. We are both not church goers. Does anyone know of a place in Lewiston/Auburn area

 We have a couple of recetion halls that we are interested in. None of them can hold the wedding ceramony on location. We are both not church goers. Does anyone know of a place in Lewiston/Auburn area or Farmington area that would hold just a wedding ceremony? Inside or outside(with in door option) would be fine. Our wedding is in July 2013.

 Not in your area at all but we are having ours at Moody Chapel in Hinckley (near fairfield) it is a non-denominational chapel and is beautiful!! 500 to rent.

That's a great question.  Have you thought about Lost Valley Ski Resort?  I attended a ceremony and reception there that was charming.  I would imagine they might be open to giving you pricing on just the ceremony portion.  Their info is:

 Check out Martindale Country Club. We are having our wedding there. You can do the ceremony there as well, indoor or outdoor. We plan to have it outdoor but, if it is bad weather they bring it right inside. They are great. They are everything we are looking for and more without all the extra fees. You Pay $500 deposit for the room and have it for that whole day. If you decide to have you reception longer because the party is still going they stay no extra fee and you just work it out with your DJ or Band. Having the ceremony is another few hundred but, they work with you. They do the catering and our known for the quality of the food. I have so many things I could tell you but, I will stop here. I know they are starting to book up for 2013 so check them out soon. Good Luck!

 Check out Martindale Country Club in Auburn. We are haveing ours there. They do the ceremony there as well. Outdoor or Indoor. We plan to have it outside and if it is bad weather they set it up inside on the dance floor. You put $500 deposit down for the room and have it for the whole day and night. They dont have any extra hidden fees. I have many good things to say about them already so feel free to send me a message. I'd be happy to share the information with you that I have as well as what they have included if you go with them. Check them out because they are already booking up for 2013. I have to say lost valley not the best. My cousin had his wedding reception there. It was ok. Food was ok not the best. You have a set amount of hours. He has his during the afternoon so we were kicked out at 4 or 5 for the other wedding reception. It was the quickest wedding reception I have ever been to. Good Luck!

 There is also the bates chapel. I was told they may be going under construction in 2013 but they were not postive yet.
