Gloucester. We went there and stayed in a B&B for a romantic getaway and it was amazing! Of course, on the Cape, Chatham, Falmouth, and Orleans are always my favorite.

May can be a tricky month at the coast. It's going to be colder and foggier along the coast, because the water is still chilly. So, I'd recommend going inland for your anniversary weekend. Here are a few suggestions:

Stonehedge Inn, Tyngsborough MA
Stockbridge Inn, Stockbridge MA

And, if you've got your heart set on staying along water, here are a few suggestions:
Chatham Bars Inn, Chatham MA
Wentworth by the Sea, Portsmouth MA
Ocean Edge Resort, Brewster MA
