Looking for a great florist on Martha's Vineyard. Also wondering if it would be cheaper to hire a florist off the island and transport the flowers to the Vineyard? If we are getting married on Saturday, what day would we need to pick them up if we did the off-island option? Thanks for your help!

We are using MV Florist. Ellen works out of her home and we found her to be pretty reasonable. Within a week of meeting with her, she had some mock-ups available and sent me pictures. They were exactly what I wanted/envisioned. They will deliver and set up the flowers.

I think if you were to get someone off island, you would want to pick the flowers up the day before. Think of the logistics of this option...who will pick them up/deliver, and where are you going to store them until they are needed?

Be careful of using non MV vendors for your MV wedding only because if the boats don't run due to weather or if the person misses the boat... you could be out of luck.
