Photographer experience

Has anyone used Artistic Events/ Artistic Wedding Photos near Livonia? We had them for our wedding in June.  We still haven't seen them yet.  Not even proofs.  Is this something I should be worried about?

    Did you post about them a while ago?  I remember someone posting about them saying they couldn't get a hold of them and they changed their name or something?  Was that you or someone else?

    Ah Jen, you're faster than me.  I was just coming back to post that thread. 

    Kimmy, have you had any contact with the company yet?  Can you get a hold of them?  I would get in contact with them ASAP -- and keep us updated.

    I waited eight - maybe nine - weeks before we got our pics back.  But our photographer told us in advance that it would take approx eight weeks.  And we were in touch with each other during that time period for teasers and pics for our thank you card. 

    What's your gut feeling on this.  I'd be in touch with them and just tell them that you're touching base and wonder if they have an ETA for your pics.

    Sorry, Julie ;)

    I agree with PP, that you should trust your instincts and what expectation you were given when you signed the contract with them. Our original photographer was vague about final delivery of our engagement photos (we waited five months to get our folio back) and ended up cancelling our contract with him because of it.

    I hope everything works out for you and please do update us what you find out.

    They were great when we first met with them.  I wasn;t until aobut a month before the wedding when they started getting really shaddy.  On average it would take about 5 emails and 2 voicemails(thats if the box wasnt full) until they got back to me.  Thankfully they showed up on the wedding day.  One of the photographers that they brought wasn't even the girl we were told was coming, she was in training!  But by that point, it was my day and I was trying not to worry about it.  The main photographer said they would be ready to view  in 4 weeks.  They just posted crappy pictures to appease me that they are there..  But neither my husband or myself are in them.  I had not posted about them before.  But they did change their name and location.  I just hope we get our pictures, we did pay 1700 for them.

    Channel 7 did a story on the company a few weeks ago.  It caught my attention because anything wedding related does.  It looks like you aren't the only person having problems.

    I had a friend who booked with them but recently got a new photographer because of the channel 7 news on them. Try contacting them again and maybe you can get in touch with channel 7 too.

    HI-I am having the same experience with this company.  Can anyone please give me some information--I would greatly appreciate it!  I just want my wedding pictures...it makes me so sad.  I can't believe this is happening.  Did you even get your pictures back? 

    Please let me know any updated information as I am having the exact same experience with this company.
