We just went to Men's Wearhouse in Milford on Saturday morning.  It's $150 for a two-button Calvin Klein rental, everything included.

If you can AVOID this location of Men's Wearhouse, please do so - it was by far the most awful experience we've had so far planning our wedding.  My fiance will be getting fitted at the Trumbull location.  We've heard it's much nicer and the staff isn't brain-dead and rude.

We're getting Ralph Lauren tuxes from Bogey's in Danbury for $129.

Oh... and that includes everything.  If your party rents 5 tuxes the groom gets his free.  We didn't have that many, but I still think we got a great price.

I think the guys paid about $150 at Men's Warehouse for our wedding and I think DH just paid the same for his brother's wedding.

With Men's Warehouse, there are definitely some places that are better than others.  I hate the Waterford Mall but the guys in that store are fantastic.

The guys paid about $120 at Modern Formals in Southington (I think they also have a Meriden and North Haven location).  Also, with 4 paid rentals, DH was able to get either his rental tux free or any suit for free.  He opted for the suit since he could use it for years after.

What do you do when one of the Groomsmen lives in California?

FI was planning to go to Bogey's in Danbury, but since we don't expect the GM to fly in just for a fitting, I think they may have to go to a chain like Mens Warehouse.

Anyone have a situation like this?

We had 2 groomsmen from out of state and they just got measured at a local tailor and called in their measurements.

Our friends and family have always used Men's Warehouse but most shops will measure guys for free.

Out of state GMs can go to any local men's attire store and ask for a "courtesy measure". Then they can call it into the shop who is doing the tuxedo order for the wedding.

We got the 5 GMs and the groom's suit is free deal from Formals by Antonio. Cost is $144 per guy - shoe rental included.

We are going to J.T. Ghamo's in Hartford.  They have other locations in CT too.  It is $125 for everything and that includes tailoring if they need it.  Most places don't let you tailor the rented tux's.  Also, the groom gets his for free.
