I am currently trying to decide on our wedding month. We will be getting married on the Mississippi coast in Gulfport. Our venue is across the street from the beach. It has a beautiful yard, where I'd like to have the ceremony and lots of windows and doors to showcase the ocean view. Can anyone give me advice about what month, either late March or early November? We prefer a cool temp but not cold, least chance of precip and we'd like a decent chance for the sky to be clear and blue not gray like it is during the winter months. Thanks for yalls help!

PS we do plan on having a tent put on the lawn as a backup plan in case of rain.

Yeah, I'd second March. Even though there aren't a lot of leaves on the trees to begin with, November signals the beginning of the winter sleep for me. Things are starting to pop out in March. You may even begin to catch some azaleas blooming in March.

Yes. We did a camping trip to FL the first week of April this year, and things were already very green. You should be fine late March.

I'm a sucker for fall - but so are a lot of people and November can definitely be a busy time for weddings. I'd say maybe even more than March? I was at a wedding this March in Jackson and it was beautiful, and on the coast the freezing issues should be less of a problem so after all that...MARCH. Do March =)
