I'm using RachelErin Photography from Baton Rouge. She doesn't charge extra to travel, you just have to pay for her hotel room. Her cheapest package is $850 and includes 4-5 hours with 1 photographer, images on a disk and online proofing for 2 months.

I worked out a package with her for $1350 - 6 hours of coverage with two photographers, 2 months of online proofing, DVD rom of digital negatives with copyrights, and a 25 page coffee table book.

I know people who've used Tilley Photography, Ella J Reese, and GulfPortraits. They all take beautiful pics. I got quotes for all of them - here are their lowest packages.

Tilley Photographer - $1950

5 hours of coverage

All high resolution images on disk

Three mini pocket accordian albums

Online proofing

GulfPortraits - $1695

Unlimited time

400 4x6’s

750-800 pictures taken

$500 credit toward prints

Online proofing for 270 days

Ella J Reese - $1200

6 hours of coverage

digital copies of all of your images

10 portrait sheets

A friend of mine has started doing photography on the AL/MS gulf coast...her pictures look great (as far as I can tell...) and she's probably the sweetest person on the planet. Her name is Leslie =)

A friend of mine does great work, and has very reasonable prices. She lives in Starkville, but makes day trips to the Biloxi area sometimes, so she probably is available to work there too.

She did my engagement pics last weekend and was super sweet, had great ideas, and was extremely patient with us as we had many different things that we wanted to incorporate into our pics (including several outfit and location changes!) The pics and price were amazing, I couldn't have been happier! : )

I just booked Cindy De Saulles Photography. She has a great special going on for weddings. $500 including a Bridal session. So far she has been great with communication and professionalism. She's very easy to talk with and I felt comfortable with her right away. Check her out!
