Here are a few of the options that have been brought up in previous threads about Hattiesburg:
Big Creek Wildlife Lodge

The Train Depot
the Cultural Center

the old Walthall School

I hope one of those helps!

This board is pretty slow, but if you go to the bottom, you'll see a "search" bar - type in hattiesburg venue and you should be able to find lots of options! Good luck!

Hey guys, I'm a newly engaged bride looking at the H'burg area too! Does anyone know if Camellia Gardens is open? Is there a support group for Hattiesburg brides? We should start one if there isn't - maybe monthly margaritas at La Fiesta or something! :D

Hey ladies! If you're looking for something rustic and vibey, not too stuffy or overly formal feeling, there is a new venue in downtown Hattiesburg that has openned up within the past year. It's called The Venue and it's in an old bakery building. It's a huge space w/ wooden floors, tall exposed rustic beams, w/ a huge sky light that runs the length of the building. I have been to several weddings there and it's breathtaking! it's the perfect space for the modern bride who wants a different feel. Check them out on facebook. I hope to have my wedding there next spring!

My husband and I married there last fall and its is absoutely beautiful! It was different than any other place we looked at and we loved the hard woods and rustic feel. Definitely check it out!
