Need help with logistics for my in-suite...

My wedding is at 7pm--recpetion starts at 8:30. I am not sure how I will get the ice to the room before the wedding and not have it melt? Also, will any hotel employees look at me suspiciously if I am carrying like 5 giant bags of ice?

How did you all work this out? How did you transport it, etc...

Thanks!

Maybe you could purchase some styrofoam coolers at the liquor/grocery store or rent coolers?

Can someone put the ice in the coolers before the wedding starts?  It shouldn't melt in 2 hours.

Don't worry about bringing bags of ice into your room. The casinos/hotels are used to seeing lots of people dragging coolers, ice, cases of beer, etc to their room. It's Vegas, so it's sort of expected. ;)

I'd definitely go with rented coolers if at all possible.  I purchased styrofoam coolers just for the wedding party getting ready rooms at walmart in Vegas since it was last minute and while they kept the ice cold just fine, they weren't cheap since you need either a bunch or fairly large ones depending on the guest count.

After all was said and done I wasted a lot of time and money that in hindsight I'd have been happy to spend more to not have to deal with it, and these were just for our two rooms where everyone got ready on wedding day.

lol just don't decide to get ice from room service my dad was told by a cleaning person that we could get a huge bin of ice from room service...he wasn't told it would cost 20 bucks either...and when the ice showed up the HUGE bucket was the size of a shoe box...lesson learned!
