Who not to have as a photog from CP?

I am stuck with them since they don't allow outside photographers and the bride has just said not to have Shannon as she is slow. If you remember the photographers name from Imagine that were horrible let me know. I want to request NOT to have them! 3 out of 100 pics sucks and it's your wedding day, ugh I wish they would change their rules.

    I'm hoping past brides can shed light on who is slow and all the bad so we know who NOT to have. I'm going to look at their website or rather FB and see what name is mentioned. Maybe that will help us too.

    I worked with Scott. 

    When he asked for my mom and dad to join me in a photo, I replied that it would be just my dad.  He turned to my wedding party and said loudly so that even my guests could hear, "Oh right, the mom's dead."

    Other than that he was decent enough.

    Out of curiosity, are you planning on getting a photog for the reception or anything after the ceremony?

    Ok I didn't use him but ask for Cameron, I guess he owns it or runs it not really sure which it is. My photog here where I live that did my boudoir photos said to request him. She has seen his work and said it was good. I did request him at first but then I decided to go with an outside photog. Shani told me she would put the request in but that there was no guarantee. So ask early! But don't hold me to this because like I said I didn't use him.

    @jccswl - We are only using them for the ceremony pictures, we have Mike L for our reception and other pictures before and after the ceremony.

    Great! Yea, I'm glad you'll have the photog for everything else. Also, I'm happy that you ladies are taking an active role on how and who is shooting your ceremony pics. I wish I knew or at least informed myself on Imagine before to at least got in contact with them so we could've established a relationship instead of 'eh, i'm here b/c i have a contract w/CP so i could care less about your pics.'

    Absolutely! I am looking into photogs for after the ceremony and reception. :-). I know who I want but the FI needs to sit down and look at the info I have an tell me who he likes.

    You can have whoever you choose for your reception. :-). You just can't have them for the ceremony. :-(. His name is Mike L. I posted something about a week ago that says "need Mike L contact info" or something to that nature. His contact info is there. :-). His wife Courtney has been very helpful so far. HTH

    I was going to cite Olivea's example but for some reason I thought that guy's name was Joe.

    We had Shannon and didn't notice that she was slow, but we only used her for the ceremony so literally like 15 minutes.

    I came across these reviews today and am utterly speechless!!! I am Scott, the owner of Imagine Studios. Yes, our studio covers all of the events at Caesars Palace here in Las Vegas and events outside of the hotel.

    I CAN NOT beleive that there is a post circulating that I said something disrespectful about a bride's dead mother. I would never say anything about someone's dead parent, relative, dog, fish, anything.... I can't believe this! Just because someone types it on the Knot, doesn't make it true. And the fact that this is being posted and reposted so much, and it's something that question's my character and integrity. Totally unfair!! This is a forum, people post opinions, lies, truths... really do you know if someone is posting something negative because they truly had a bad experience or if they are being vengeful and vendictive for whatever reason? I've read reviews before and had the urge to reply, but held back.... But this, this is completely ridiculous, slanderous and I can't belive that the Knot allows this sort of thing.

    Hi there Scott,

    While I don't believe you said it maliciously, you did say it.  Almost like you were explaining to yourself her absence. Several of my guests heard it and approached me about it later. 

    I can assure you that I am not being vengeful and vindictive. I have no reason to lie about my experience.  I've been a member of this forum for a long time and only speak the truth. My experience with the wedding department at Caesars was nothing less than excellent.
