 I was wondering if some brides are still having issues with getting booted from the Vista Suite during prime weekends, or has that been resolved as of late?

We are thinking of having a M&G in the Vista Suite and using Masterpiece Catering. Since we aren't using MB for our wedding or reception, should I be worried, or have things smoothed over? I'd hate to set up a catering contract and then show up and be told we can't have our suite.

 I've never heard of anyone with a two night reservation having issues; were you just going to have it one night?

Probably not. I figured if we rented it for two nights (the entire weekend), we'd have a better chance of getting it. We can always use it for an impromptu-ish party after our dinner reception at Firefly.

 I'd do that and I don't think you'll have anything to worry about.  Although maybe get it the night before you need it instead of the night after?  Reason being, wedding day can be pretty stressful and it's not fun to try and wait until 3pm to get checked in and set it up if they don't have one available early.

 Ditto VG. I would have it rented for two nights, it is just too risky IMO to get the room late in the day and still try and set up..
