Just curious - if you are already married or have already had your dress fitting...how did you bustle your dress? Pictures would be appreciated. :) I know all dresses have to be done differently, but I'm curious. It seems I have never even thought about bustles until yesterday, now I can't even remember what they've looked like in past weddings I've been to.

I have a big butt, it doesn't matter how much I weigh that thing never goes anywhere. When I went to try dresses on we always checked to see how they were going to be bustled. Everyone loves the French over bustle but that made me look very large. I think I'm going to go with a low under bustle. If that doesn't work out then I'll have them make it come up in a v so it doesn't look bustled at all, it will just fall as if its a regular dress.

I had a 3 button bustle. Have the person that's doing your alterations to show you. I loved it!

I had a one button bustle that just pulled the back of he skirt straight up. I loved the way it looked, but it broke toward the end of the night. Definitely look into getting more than one button!

My bustle went under, but my skirt had pickups so it kind of just blended in and looked more gathered in the back...I'll see if I can find a picture..

I had a 3 button bustle. One up high in the middle and one lower on either side. It made the lace from the bottom of my gown look like it was cascading down the back.
