I never posted a photography review with my other reviews, mainly because it took so long to get the disk. At any rate, I was not happy with my photographer, Laura Leigh Photography out of Dover NH.
We have no close ups! Every pic is full body! All our photos were taken head-on, no posing or staging whatsoever! She arrived late to the venue so didn't get pictures of the reception room before the guests entered, as I had requested. No pics of the tables & centerpieces, as requested. The one pic of my bouquet has a half eaten roll in it! A lot of dance shots are of the back of peoples heads. I could go on and on!
Soooo, to all you future brides, when deciding on a photographer, ask for LOTS of examples of their work!

OMG I am sooo sorry to hear that!!! She was one of the people we looked into but we decided not to go with her because she had no persoanlity! She came all the way to my house and was there for like 10 minutes! I keep trying to get her to talk about herself and she had nothing to say. She also didn't bring anything... she had already mailed me a sample CD but I would have thought she would have been more prepared!
I am so thankful I didn't choose her! and again I am so sorry this happend to you!

Nothing I can do now, lIve and learn, I guess. But I've seen other people being referred to her so I wanted to put something out there as a warning.

I'm so sorry to hear that :( We ended up being disappointed in our professional photos as well (different photographers). I talked to our photographers and they offered to refund some of our money. Perhaps you can ask for similar compensation? Being late, not taking requested photos... those are all legitimate complaints.

WOW, that is crazy unprofessional! Anyone going into business has to realize, eventually something is going to happen - someone is going to be unhappy with the work for one reason or another, and it is entirely possible that their displeasure with your work may be a result of your actions/behavior/skill. If she really is good at what she does, the other great reviews she get will block out the bad one - and if she's not, well, she'll suffer the consequences. Such is life.

Never mind, found it! Everyone's entitled to their opinion and if someone wants to have their wedding pictures taken by her, then go for it. Doesn't change the fact that I am not happy with her work! And this isn't slander, it's a review!
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we don't have ANY good pics. But the bad certainly outweigh the good.
