I realize I'm probably in the wrong part of the country for this, but do you know if any Abq area caterers will do a pig roast? I've looked into BBQ places, but haven't been successful.

We are doing southern food for our wedding. I'm in the Las Cruces area though. Hope you find somewhere up there.

You should contact Jim Schumacher through the cooperage in ABQ! Good luck! Southern food doesn't seem popular AT ALL in NM. I didn't have southern food until an old roommate introduced and he was from Atlanta.

Do you want a pig roast or southern food? A pig roast, is locally called a matanza, you should be able to find someone to do that. If you are looking for southern food, I recommend contacting powdrell's and slate st cafe. Slate st does a contemporary spin on comfort food and caters. We used Jim for our wedding and he was WONDERFUL!!!!
