Has anyone recently had a wedding or been to a wedding at beckwith pointe? I am having some trouble choosing between a couple venues. Beckwith Pointe stands out because of its amazing views and great areas for taking pictures, but how is the food and the service? Also, what happens if it rains on my day?? - Not able to take pictures outside? The rooms are not as nice as some of the other venues, but I still can not get over the views of this place! Any comments, please pass in my direction :)

If you like Beckwith Pointe, I would also check out Glen Island

I did see Glen island. It is very nice, but they are more expensive and will not provide me with a twilight wedding.

I've booked with Beckwith, our wedding is in April. So far it's been easy breezy working with them. They are cheaper than Glenn Island. Oh and the food is really good! But Glenn Island is also beautiful. I think it depends on your budget and what you want the feel of the wedding to be. I find Beckwith to be a more "comfy" type of feeling in the ballroom. And Glen Island to be a more black tie, fancy, type of feeling.

I completely agree...I do think however that the picture options at beckwith are much better than glen island. And with beckwith, you can dress it up to your liking. I hope you have a wonderful wedding there in april!! Im sure it will be gorgeous!!!
