After having my heart broken again by going back to Chateau Le MEr and not being able to afford... I am going to visit 2 more venues in Long Island tomorrow with my mom. Going to The Swan CLub and also Sans Souci Sea CLiff. Was wondering if anyone has been there or had their wedding there... what should I expect? What did you like or not like? Were either willing to help with price?

I booked Swan Club, I live right nearby and have tons of info, message me if you have specifics you want.

How big is your reception? San Souci--pretty view but I ruled them out for size and some other reasons.

I have also heard that the SC doesn't ever really negotiate price--but you might get them to throw in parts of the Platinum upgrade. It wasn't worth it for us to pick and choose the parts so we just upgraded to Platinum and were done with it.

I loved the swan club, the food is amazing, and the grounds can not be beat. I just attended a wedding at CLM and although in the past the food was great I was not impressed. I have never been let down at the swan club. Good luck!!

I booked at the thatched cottage more resonable than I expected and Maureen was great made me feel like she would make sure our day went perfectly.
