Can anyone recommend an officiant in the NYC area?

My FH is Jewish and I am Protestant. We are non practicing, but would like to bring in some religious elements. We need an officiant who will give us some advice since we have no idea where to begin! They should have an entertaining personality.

I didn't try her, but a friend recommended Rev. Sarah Margaret, her website is lasting-footprints.com
She seems really open to incorporating as much religion as you'd like.

My fiance and I hired Rev Annie Lawrence.  She has a really great and fun personality and was willing to work with us in incorporating some jewish traditions into our cereomony while keeping it mostly non religious.

I guess I should also ask, what do people pay for their services? Is it an hourly rate for consult and service? A fixed package price?

Most of the officiants we met with did a free consultation with us and then informed us of their rates.  Everyone we consulted had a flat fee for their services, with a deposit up front and the rest due the week of wedding.

Check the vendors section too.

as ZachandVicky said most of us provde a free consultation so you get to know more or less if the officiant is the right person.  The fees usually range from $350-$800 depending on the officiant, ceremony size, etc.
