I'm trying to help a friend find a rehearsal dinner location in the Lake George/Loon Lake area. They were thinking of having the dinner in a private room at a restaurant and are expecting 20-30 people. The rehearsal will be near Loon Lake but most of the guests are staying near Lake George so they are open to having it anywhere in that area.

They aren't from the area and don't know anything about restaurants in the area, so any recommendations would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

We had our rehearsal dinner in the boathouse at Silver Bay (Silver Bay YMCA camp) and it was wonderful. The food was really good. And the setting was beautiful. It is on Rt 9 east of Chestertown and north of Lake George Village (on the lake). I recommend this if it isn't too far out of the way. They have accommodations there if guests would want to stay there instead of Lake George Village.
