Hi, all. My fiance and I are planning our Charlotte wedding from out of town and wondering if anyone has had/been to a wedding at the Charlotte Museum of History/Hezekiah Alexander House. It looks like a great venue online, but there aren't that many pictures and we'd really like to get an account of how the space feels in person and how it can be used. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

I was born and raised in Charlotte, not too far from the Hezekiah house (now living in DC), and I've been back to the museum on a few occasions. I think that would be a wonderful venue. It's really open and airy when you step inside and the large windows are great. The Great Hall would be the best choice in my opinion.

My Almost-Husband and I have CMoH as one of our top 3 choices. I really love the location and I now know that they offer a very competitive rate.
The building is 2 stories and the Great Hall spans both. The land outside is very beautiful. It's definitely worth a trip to see it.
