Hey!
We are looking to get married October 2012 or April 2013 but can't decide on a location/venue. We both live in the Charlotte/Ft Mill area, but my family is near Hickory and his family is in the Winston/Greensboro area. We are looking to spend around $5,000. Any suggestions about ceremony and reception sites would be great!

I saw that you listed areas that you and your family live near, but where are you wanting to get married? What kind of style are you going for? How large of a wedding are you thinking about having?

Is the $5000 for the entire wedding or just the venue?

I would be alright with getting married in any of the locations. I think I am leaning more toward the Charlotte and Hickory areas because the prices are cheaper. Because we both have pretty big families its looking like it is going to be 125-150 people. The $5000 is for the reception (venue, food, etc.)
