Check out Cakes by Mindy at Receptions. She works for Receptions(in house baker) but also service cakes outside of Receptions.

I got my dress from Fabulous Bridal in Covington and had a great time. I got one on one attention where my bridal consultant listened to my budget and my likes and dislikes. They even serve you champagne. I highly recommend them.
For cake we went with the Bonbonerie...this is my favorite baker in all of Cincy. This is one of the things I'm looking forward to :)
For reception halls you should look into hotels. They have some great perks for having your reception there (ie reward points that you could put towards your honeymoon).

We are getting our cake from Jerry's Cheesecakes. They obviously have cheesecakes but also regular bakery style cake. Their cakes taste amazing and the people are so nice.

I'm of no help when it comes to flowers or a dress because I don't have those things decided yet either, but I did just book the cake so I can give you my thoughts on that!
My family's favorite cakes for years have been made by the BonBonerie. Every single year (except last year when my mom made me a key lime pie - yum!) we always pick up a small little BonBonerie cake for the birthday boy/girl and our family. I thought for sure we would have them make our wedding cake.
I was wrong. My mom and I had a cake tasting with Bon Bonerie and with A Spoon Fulla Sugar in Montgomery/Symmes Township who I had never heard of before a bridal show but their cake was the single best cake I have EVER had. It was ridiculously moist and so tasty. The BonBonerie cake tasting a week later just kind of made me wish I was eating the other cake. I was honestly a little disappointed because it's been my favorite since I was a little kid. Now, that's not to say that BonBonerie isn't to die for (because it totally is), but I would definitely recommend at least trying A Spoon Fulla Sugar. We just put down the deposit for my wedding yesterday and I'm super excited :)
(My future MIL went to a wedding last summer that she said was really nice but she made a point to tell me that the cake, made by BonBonerie, tasted dry, because she knew I planned on getting our cake from there.)
Oh, and as for reception halls, perhaps this link will be of help. It's a photographer's website but he has a gallery just for "venues" that I think kind of helps you see how everything looks all set up for an event at the venues he's photographed. As far as I can tell, he's hit most of the most popular wedding reception spots around town. (I'm not trying to advertise for this photographer - I didn't hire him or anything - I just think it's handy.) Good luck!

One warning..Bonbonerie has VERY dry cakes the day of your wedding. I have been in 3 different weddings all in this area and all three brides have had bonbonerie and it's been pretty flaky and dry. I decided to go with Tres Belle and she is great!! I even took her cake home and refrigerated it over night and the next day it was still moist! Don't take my word for it though..def. taste around but Tres Belle is great!

We are getting our cake done by "A cake for you." Her cakes are so moist and she has several different fillings to put in the cake. She is very reasonably priced, too!! We found her when we found my Wedding gown in "Yours Truly, Kelly." She had a tray of cupcakes in the shop and Kelly was handing them out to all her customers. I would definitely check her out...www.acakeforyou.net. Also . . .I found my Wedding Gown at "Yours Truly, Kelly." Its a consignment shop in Reading. She was so nice and definitely not pushy! Her prices are great, too!! She gets alot of sample gowns from different bridal stores in the area. I definitely recommend her shop to anyone!! Hope this Helps!!! I still have to find my flowers, too!!

I secind Jerry's...so good! Whats your budget for your reception? It would help narrow done some ideas. I'm originally form CIncinnati, and getting married there in the fall so I might have some ideas.

There have been mixed reviews, but I had an AMAZING time at Bridal and Formal. Ask for Ruth, she is wonderful - very nice, patient and sharp. I pulled 10 dresses that I thought would be "the one". She pulled two. I picked one of hers and couldn't be happier. My experience at European Bridal was lukewarm. The shop was pretty and very "boutique" in decor, but the service and selection weren't as nice as what I encountered at BF. Happy Planning!!

We are getting our flowers from Oberers in West Chester. Erin is amazing and she's great at making suggestions so that you can get what you want but within your budget.
I got my dress from Bridal and Formal and so far, I've had a great experience with them. My dress hasn't come in yet, but should be here in a couple weeks.
Our cake is from Jeana's Great Cakes and she's awesome! Her cakes are extremely moist and delicious! HTH!
