Hi! So my bridesmaids are wearing black and I really didn't want that for the flower girl, so I was thinking white dress with a black sash for the flower girl. My dress is diamond white so it makes more sense for her dress to match mine, as opposed to being shocking white, right?

I think the flower girl should be in the same shade of white as you so you match in the pictures and neither dress looks "off" in color that way

Its your preference. My flower girls are wearing two different dresses in my wedding colors. One in purple one in turquoise.. But wearing white like the bride is traditional. But as my flower girl nieces told me, we only care that we can twirl in them.

I"m guessing that your colors are black and white? What color flowers will your bridesmaids be holding? Maybe you could play off those colors somehow. If they'll carry basic red roses, for example, the flower girl's dress could be a deep red. So, it would be dark (similar to the bridesmaids), but not so 'adult' as all black. She could wear black shoes with it.
