We are thinking the same thing, I'd didn't realize there could be laws about it.  I'm curious if someone else has done this in Oregon, I have a friend who did it in Washington and it didn't seem to be an issue.

Oregon recognizes internet ordination, no problem.  Use the universal Life Church.

Oregon requires that there be a 'brick-and-mortar' location for an ordained minister, which has to be written down on the marriage license.  It doesn't need to be in state, just a physical address.  Don't choose any online site for ordination, otherwise you will be messed over.  (I'm in the biz...)  ULC does work, as they have a building in Modesto.

I have to respectfully disagree Tidbitor, I just looked it up to be sure but heres what it states... Mind you this is long.
What this is stating, is that so long as the person marrying you has the right/ability to, and two witnesses sign the marriage form, and it gets filed with the state after the wedding, its legal. Otherwise many pagan weddings I've attended would be considered invalid. I can not find where it state there is a need for brick&mortar. If you happen to find it, I'd love to see it.
Heres the website with all the laws
http://www.leg.state.or.us/ors/106.html

106.150 Form of solemnization; witnesses; solemnization before congregation. (1) In the solemnization of a marriage no particular form is required except that the parties thereto shall assent or declare in the presence of the clergyperson, county clerk or judicial officer solemnizing the marriage and in the presence of at least two witnesses, that they take each other to be husband and wife.

      (2) All marriages, to which there are no legal impediments, solemnized before or in any religious organization or congregation according to the established ritual or form commonly practiced therein, are valid. In such case, the person presiding or officiating in the religious organization or congregation shall deliver to the county clerk who issued the marriage license the application, license and record of marriage in accordance with ORS 106.170. [Amended by 1979 c.724 §5; 2001 c.501 §2; 2007 c.703 §3]

#31D on the marriage license required a name, address, and phone number of authorizing organization/congregation.  PO Boxes are not accepted.  Multnomah, Clackmas, Marion and Washington counties have told me it has to be a physical address, or it does not validate the license.  In the case of 'freelance' officiants, the home address may sometimes be considered  the 'authorized congregation' if the person runs their own home congregation.

My fiance and his father have both received 'online ordination' and have had no issue legally marrying the couples they have. No worries!
