Hey ladies!

Does anyone have any unique ideas for a place to have a bridal shower? My MOH and my mom are trying to figure out what to do for me for a bridal shower. This is my second marriage and I really don't want it to be me sitting in the middle of a bunch of ooohing and ahhhing women while I open gifts. I just want everyone to get together and have a good time. They were thinking a Tea Room or something like that, but the more suggestions the better!! Thanks!

what about one of the local winery places like Mt.Hope at the Ren Faire or something like that

The House of Clarendon (who is my cake baker) has a tea room downtown Lancaster. Their little cakes and goodies are to die for.

I like the winery idea as GunzNRoses said above. There is the Tamanend Winery in Lancaster and Nissley Vineyards in Bainbridge too. You would have to call to see if they do private get togethers.

What about a nice restaurant? The is the John Wright Restaurant in Wrightsville that overlooks the Susquehanna River. I know they do bridal showers/small events because I was there when they were setting up for one.

A spa party - Go have an informal party while getting massages and your nails down and go to lunch afterwards at Issac's (who also does private parties) or some type of informal lunch place.
