Hi all! Just got engaged Jan 27, 12! We are thinking of getting married in may or october of 2013. im looking for a venue in the mainline area. only problem is, we need a place with open catering as we have our hearts set on a pig roast! ive researched and found the willows, bolingbroke mansion, and the high point. so far the highpoint is the fav just because it seems strange to have a pork roast in a mansion. anyone know of any other rustic or barn venues in the area?

If you don't mind moving off the Main Line a bit, Northern Star farm (a real farm) does tented weddings and you can bring in your own caterer. The real barn is full of cows, but they've built another smaller barn for parties. And I think the bridal suite is in there. They're in Collegeville and the grounds are really pretty. . Nearby there is a great BBQ place and Zellers pig roast is about 15 minutes away. www.northernstarfarm.com
