Hi everyone! So I have 80 days till my big day and I'm now in full on wedding mode..

Last evening my major plan for the evening was to make sure I had enough mason jars for my center pieces. It turns out I have over 80, which is 4 times as many as I need. Fail on my part.

So now goes on to the fun stuff I got my invitations ordered last evening, which may be late to some, but we're using a local printer with a fast turn around. I can't wait to get them!!
I also ordered part of the gifts for my girls and our parents. I ordered picture frames off Etsy. The vendor woodburns their dress and name and such in the frame, they're adorable!

This weekend is Cookie baking time! My FI has his bachelor party this weekend, so I will be baking up a storm. My mom is a fabulous baker so we will be baking all the cookies for the wedding! :)

NWR: FI and I are going to look at ANOTHER house tonight. Who ever knew house shopping would be this hard!

Heb - What areas are you guys house hunting in?

MD - RSVPs.... That's so exciting!

We have our appt for groomsmen suits tomorrow night. Picked our menu as you guys know and also our cake on Monday night. We got our invite from FIs mom for our his and hers shower, which is less than a month away and I am really excited for! That's about it, things are coming together nicely!

So I finally brought my dress and veil home! Yeay!!! The dress fit, thank god, but I am still going to try it on in another 2 weeks to make sure it fits. If not, an emergency trip to Clarissas will be needed for alterations.

i also manage to cut out all my little name cards, and now I just need to put the string through them.

I will have to rethink and work on my programs a bit, and finish my table numbers this weekend. Thankfully the FI won't be busy this weekend and I am finally in Pittsburgh and not traveling, so I will simply work my but off to get stuff done. I'm pretty dang excited, I just am nervous as I don't seem to be making any headway with the little things :-(

heb- my best friend used mason jars at her wedding and they looked gorgeous. Trust me, you will find uses for them all over the place. Put candles in them and stick them all around the reception, and in the ceremony if you can.

Md- Yeay for RSVPs! I get excited when I get them too.

Lindsay- What did you decide on the menu?

Yay! Glad everyone is being so productive.

We are still without a reception place. I'm getting so frustrated and annoyed and having panic attacks every day. (The art gallery where we were supposed to have our reception is probably no longer going to exist by the time of our weding) Raaa :(

But assuming we have somewhere to have our reception...I just ordered all the supplies to package our favors. We're doing homemade caramels in a clear bag with a cute tag, tied with ribbon. And we're making a little sticker that says "(Last name) Candy Co. Est. 2012" to stick on each of the caramel wrappers. So excited!!

mook - I would be really stressed too. Do you have a backup option? I'd find some place besides this gallery, even if they say they have a relocation plan. Just in case.

md- Yeah...finding a backup place is what's stressing me out. We're pretty constrained because we already put down deposits for a bartending service that provides alcohol as well as for a caterer, so we have to find some place that will allow outside food and alcohol, or we lose >$1k. Most places I've contacted are already booked- the one I've found that's open is a really ugly ballroom, which is exactly the type of place we were trying to avoid to begin with. Sigh. I guess I just need to get over the fact that our reception is going to be in a hideous room that will gross everyone out.

erbear- that's so cute! Wow, you must have a lot of patience to deal with first graders :) I could certainly never do it.

lindsay- Right now we're looking in the Lower Burrell area. We actually looked all over, where FI is from, where I'm from and now we're going outside of those areas.

Sari- That's what I figured. I'm going to see if my florist and use some on our cookie table and do something inexpensive with the floral.

MD- That's awesome! I can't wait until the RSVP process.

Mookow- Oh my gosh, I think the world would feel my wrath if that was going on with me. Either that or just elope. haha At this point i'm just ready to be married!

Erbear- It will be here before you know it!!
