Dear Knotties,

In the past couple of months, I've received several complaints from vendors via pm about false information being posted by brides. I've forward the complaints to the Knot Annie for review. We all know vendors stalk the boards or they are informed by one of their brides on here. If you share false information or write a unfair review, please be aware that it can be damaging to their business and they can open a forum to dispute the claims made by the bride.

I've been on here long enough to see one florist loose quite a bit of business (if anyone recalls what happened to The Flower Girls) and another florist, Studio 539 opened a dispute on this board over a unfair review.

This does not mean brides should be censored The forum is intended for brides to express their views and opinions. However, they should be fair and honest because many brides on The Knot (myself included) take these reviews seriously. They become an invaluable resource when it comes to booking vendors. With that said, please also consider writing your reviews on The Knot's sister site, WeddingChannel.com (similar to weddingwire.com, where reviews can be stored and viewed by brides)
