Hello I am an upcoming bride. I live in Fl but was in Tn october2011 and fell in love with it. I was supposed to get married at Disney but due to upcoming contruction iv lost my place. So i thought of TN right away. I will be making a trip to TN to view local places but it would be great to have some insite already on where to go Please let me know

It depends on the type of place you are looking for. Are you looking for an acctual venue or for a wedding chapel?

I immediately thought of Grandview on Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga. http://www.meetatgrandview.com/

But there are several other places in this area that also offer scenic wedding venues. I'm getting married at Sunrise Farm atop Sand Mountain in Trenton, Ga, which is right outside Chattanooga.

There's also a beautiful site along the Tennessee River Gorge ... it's called Tennessee RiverPlace. It's basically a bed & breakfast with beautiful views for weddings.

I know of several other spots in Chattanooga if this is the part of TN you're interested in. Good luck!!

Thank you for all your posts. Im looking in gatlinburg or near there i want the smokeys as my background. when i went there in october it was such a breathtaking view.

Im looking for the whole package basically i will be going up to TN in october and was trying to see which places to get maried i should go to to narrow my search. being in florida and planning a out of sate wedding is extremly hard.

all the help counts and means alot thanks again for you post and to tropicwonder i hope you have a beautiful wedding day
