Star Ranch out of Dripping Springs... lovely, little small town feel. We attended a friend's wedding here last September. It's a movie set where several movies like Kill Bill have been filmed, The Bridal lounge is large, very quaint with some country charm comfort. Our coordinator, Christina Alfonso has thrown together lovely weddings here, as she is awesome at space planning events inside of challenging venues. The reception hall is a bit narrow but doable for a wedding under 200ish. My friend Cynthia had 180 and we all fit in pretty well.

It's a sweet little drive off of 71 and doesn't feel so far from Austin, your back in the city in minutes. You'll love this spot as it is affordable and unique, but I think pricing varies depending on the season too like most venues. So look into it a bit more or call our coordinator who may be able to locate you something better?

I only found star hill ranch, do you know if maybe there is a different name for them?

i am SERIOUSLY in love with tx old town its just a little more than we wanted to spend. they are still an option though. i guess a lot of overtime will be in my future :)
